The owner-managed family business was founded in 1931 and has its headquarters in St. Gallen. Today it is active throughout Switzerland with over 800 employees at 11 locations. The EMIL EGGER Group offers a comprehensive portfolio of services in the three business areas of general cargo, heavy cargo and storage.

The logistics service provider has a total of 160,000 m² of warehouse space. This includes high-bay, mobile racking and shelving warehouses, large storage areas for heavy goods and special storage systems for long goods. In addition, the company has its own fleet of 236 trucks and 85 special transport trucks and can provide all transport services for packages, pallets, long goods and special sizes on request. The EMIL EGGER Group specialises in handling all general cargo formats through to long and heavy goods.

At the beginning of 2024, the company opened another modern logistics center at its Härkingen site. The 120 m long and 62 m wide building comprises four levels with various storage and office areas. The first floor houses a large heavy goods warehouse with 32- and 16-ton cranes and a goods handling area with 10 loading ramps. On the upper three levels, there are around 10,000 pallet spaces in block storage as well as automatic narrow aisle and sliding rack storage. The individual logistics levels are accessible via pallet and goods lifts.

An automated high-bay warehouse is currently being built at the logistics center in Avenches. Our warehouse management software “plx.wmx” is being introduced here, in Härkingen and at all other logistics locations. The aim is to fully exploit performance potential and further increase flexibility and transparency for customers.

The EMIL EGGER Group relies on our highly flexible, future-oriented plx.wmx, supplemented by the billing add-on plx.billing, and our special know-how and understanding of the logistics service provider sector. The PureLoX SOLUTIONS team includes specialists who have worked for logistics service providers for many years and have internalized the special requirements of the industry – such as a high level of customer and service orientation.
